How does Software Development work?
There’re 2 main types of software development, there’s Applications Development and Systems Development. Applications Development are apps, programs, and software that Users use to do their stuff. Systems Development is more the software that the Applications run from. This can be your computer’s operating system, such as Windows, Linux, and Mac.
Zawro focus more on the Applications Development. We create software for you to do your work easier. This can mean streamlining and automating your workflow, so there’s no bottle necks holding your company back.
Zawro first checks your requirements. What you need, and want, and we’ll find a way to get it for you.
Zawro will then give you a detailed quotation, of the time and cost involved in each milestone. Depending on the size of your project, if it’s small then Zawro can most likely finish it from start to finish. Test it, then implement it.
If your project is a big one, Zawro will break it into milestones. These milestones are stages of key points that we need to succeed, so we can move forward. If it’s a User Interface project, Zawro will get the first version out asap and get it tested for User Experience.
Nobody wants a fully completed project when your Users don’t like to use your software. Zawro’s first milestone will be to get your software completed in version 1, and get User feedback. It’s easier for you to see what needs to be changed when you can actually use it. This is usually the skeleton of the program, get it working with basic functions so you can get the feel of your software’s operating.
This is also good because you, as the Client can see progress. There’s nothing worst than waiting for the final product, only to have it and the User Experience is terrible.
Once the first milestone is completed, Zawro will continue to do the rest and get the final fully completed project working for you.
You as the Client will have peace of mind, as Zawro will keep you updated all the way till completion.
